Green synthesis of micro/nanoparticles

She graduated in Industrial Chemistry in 2002 and received PhD in Systems Engineering for Industrial Production in 2008 from the Polytechnic University of Turin. During her PhD, she carried out part of her research activities for one year at Laboratory for Machine Tools and Manufacturing Engineering, Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki. Since 2017 is a permanent researcher at the Institute for Agricultural and Earthmoving Machine (IMAMOTER) of CNR (now STEMS). Her research activity is mainly concerned with the mechanical characterisation of samples both massive and in the form of coatings. In particular, it has developed expertise in the study of wear, adhesion of coating-substrate systems and hardness. In addition, his research activity is focused on morphological and structural characterisation (SEM Scanning Electron Microscopy with EDS electron microprobe, X-Ray Diffraction and Optical Microscopy). His research activity now focuses on the synthesis of nanoparticles obtained by green synthesis.
