Michela Alfè is a Senior Researcher at CNR-STEMS. She holds a degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. Her research focuses on Materials Science and Energy & Environment areas, including the synthesis and characterization of low-cost materials and composites for energy applications. These research activities are highly interdisciplinary, spanning the fields of engineering, chemistry, and physics. In addition to coordinating and participating in numerous national and international research projects, and collaborating with several research centers, Michela is also active in research networking as a member of scientific societies, including COST Actions. She serves as an EBM of indexed journals and engages in outreach activities. Currently, she is the CNR delegate to the EERA CCS JP International Board and is responsible for the MADE4CO2-Lab, the IR node part of the European CCUS Research Infrastructure ECCSEL ERIC for CO2 Capture, Utilization, Transport, and Storage. She has authored more than 100 papers published in ISI journals and as book chapters.
